The cold winds,
Bit through to the bone,
Injecting fear,
Injecting it.

The strangest howls in the dark,
Let none sleep,
For something nearby,
Did lurk in the dark.

Jars of umpteen sins,
Burst open,
Out into the darkness,
That leaked and soaked terror.

Right ahead,
To save you,
To the left,
Was not so,
There did he not move,
For he lived a happy life.
