INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!
The Fourth!
So today I would like to talk a little bit about what the fourth of July means to me, and maybe some of you could make a comment or two about what the United States "Independence Day" means to you?
POW! A Little Background!
I was born September 20 1979, in a U.S. Air force hospital in landstul Germany on Rams-tine Air Force base. At the age of about one and a half my parents were stationed back in the states. My father was in the military for twenty four years, and retired a chief master Sargent. The last place he was stationed was Tyndle AFB in Panama City, Florida, he retired there about 22 years ago. I grew up in and around the military, and enjoyed the military culture. I went to schools that were on the base itself, and was sheltered from some of the realities that civilians face. See when we moved to Florida, were my father eventually retired, was I subjected to what most people are use to. I am speaking of racial lines, economic lines, ect.., I went to schools on the base with other military brats. This was what life was for us, and we did not have or should I say I did not have a comparison until I was in 8th grade! Up until then I never knew what race was, and that there are poor people and rich people, ect. Now some might say, "Well your parents should of taught you about this." I don't agree, but hey,, everyone is entitled to there opinion!
My Thoughts!
Lets talk Independence! So as the story goes, the British monarchy were a bunch of jerks and they were making life miserable for the colonists. The colonist had enough of that shit, and threw some tea off a ship. Someone got shot, and then all hell broke loose! The colonists fight the tyranny of the British Empire and WIN!!! YAY,, on the fourth of July 1776 the thirteen colonies declare their Independence from the awful rule of the British Empire. Of course this is just a very short recap of events that I have been (told/taught) that happened. Now I am not saying the events that I learned in school are not true, but at the same time I don't believe that all events are true either. See I was not there, I can't just say that YES! this is what happened! I just can't and really no one else can as well. I know you have your historians/scholars, that will yell, kick and scream that the events taught in school are 100% true, and shame on you for doubting any of it! All I can say for certain is Maybe they are and Maybe they aren't? Both you and I were not there and have no way of verifying with 100% accuracy, that said events took place!!! This is my thought process about many different topics in life, and it has taken many stressful years of arguing with others, to realize the undeniable truth...
*If I was not there to witness said event, I can't say with 100% certainty, that said event is true or false. Furthermore even though I may have witnessed an event, that does not mean I am able to remember that event with 100% certainty as well.!
FIREWORKS!!!
Where Was I ?
Now I understand that the probability of certain events taking place could be lower and higher, and that when talking about the american revolution there is some proof that events did happen as told. The Declaration of Independence for example, there is a document that we all can see and yes it exists, but I believe it was created by my forefathers. What I just said, is what I am getting at... the doc exists yes, but who created it I don't really know? I believe the WHO is true, as I have been told. I am explaining myself so that you can better understand how I think. That I at the deepest level, I understand the difference between belief (Were by there are levels of probability involved), and 100% fact. NOW, I know you might be saying at this point, WERE ARE YOU GOING WITH THIS!!! I am about to explain the point of all of this now.
GET TO THE POINT!
I love the United States of America and for what it was meant to stand for. What I mean is the land and the people that make up the U.S. and there is an underlying theme to America, it is known as the land of the free. The forth of July reminds me of the principles that this country was founded on. I also know that some "ameriacans" in the past did some really horrible shit, this is not the example I am referencing when talking about principals. America is like a family member that has issues, but you love with all your heart and want to help be better. I am no stranger to or ignorant of the corruption this nation has been completely swamped with. To start with, all the cancer-est tumors, called politicians doing nothing but lining their own pockets and just fucking up so many lives for many many years. All levels of government have been so corrupted, like a computer hard drive the only thing you can do to fix it, is format the thing and load everything back on that you want. The judicial branch of the United States is the biggest joke of them all. They have no idea what they are doing, and man do they want you to believe that they got this! The whole judicial system from the cops to the courts, enforce and judge events their ignorant minds can't possibly fathom. The sheer ego of and antagonistic individuals inside this system, truly believe they are doing good work. I will not get into this any further, I would end up writing a book if I did. I wish there was another way, and there might be, of avoiding completely formatting the hard drive but I do not see it. The fact of the matter is that we as citizens of the U.S. aren't republicans or democrats, rich or poor, city or country, WE ARE WHAT WE WANT TO BE! See I grew up in the atmosphere of the military, and I believe that if we had to do a reset, that the good men and women there would have the backs of the civilians they are sworn to protect, as it stands today. All we need to do as civilians is UNITE as one people, with very clear goals, and make the TUMOR bow down to the will of the people!
In Conclusion
Well that's my 4th of July post.... I want my country to be better, no president is going to do it for us! We have to stop being led around by our tails and submitting to a Very Corrupt Government! VCG Mother Fucker! lol sounds like a street gang! Anyway I know change of this magnitude takes butt loads of time, plus blood, sweat and tears! If we as a nation really want change, the kind of change that lasts, we have no other choice then to UNITE. We have to come up with ways that the new systems can not be corrupted, or at least make an effort to find the closet way. We as humans all across the planet, this little beautiful blue marble, have a right to live free, without fear of oppression, or persecution. To earn a living without dying from it, struggling to make ends meet! I am not saying that the wealthy should give up their money as well, this coming from me a "poor" person. I don't want wealthy people to have to give more then I do, that is just jealousy if you believe that. I want the opportunity to work hard and earn my keep, without a governing body taking my shit!!! I have a few plans when it comes to a governing body getting money for there intended purpose, but I will not go into that now. I want the bully to be kicked in the nuts and thrown into outer space, fuckers that want power and control are just sick in the head. I don't get it why would you want that, I have never had a desire to control another human or animal. What ever those people exist and we should show them the door! OK OK OK.... I will stop typing, I hope this post was at least a little enjoyable and if you read to this point thank you so much for doing so. I wish you a wonderful day or night where ever you may be, and STEEM ON!!!
