It's better to do everything on time in life; delaying things doesn't make them as enjoyable. I had to share these photos now, which I took about two months ago. I completely forgot to share them.
When I took the photos, the snow was melting on one side and the trees were sprouting leaves on the other. Since the region is at an altitude of around 2200 meters, the trees sprout leaves a little later than in other settlements.

The Nemrut Caldera remains closed for approximately 5-6 months. Once the snow melts and the roads open, people flock here. They prefer to be alone with nature, spend time with loved ones, and escape the noise of the city. The blue car belonged to two Austrian couples. They were planning to stay overnight, but since overnight stays have been prohibited here for a few years, they left towards evening.
Nemrut Kalderası yaklaşık 5-6 ay boyunca kapalı kalıyor. Karlar eriyip yollar açılınca insanlar buraya akın ediyor. Doğayla baş başa kalıp sevdikleriyle vakit geçirmeyi, şehrin gürültüsünden uzaklaşmayı insanlar tercih ediyor. Mavi renkli araç Avusturyalı iki çifte ait. Gece burada konaklamayı düşünüyorlardı, bir kaç yıldır burada gece konaklamak yasak olduğu için akşam vaktine doğru buradan ayrıldılar.
Because the wind was blowing very gently, Lake Ilı was quiet and peaceful. After this year's heavy rains, the water level of Lake Ilı has visibly increased. Of course, the lake level used to be much higher. It was impossible for people to cross to this side by car. They had to cross the lake with the help of a tractor to reach the other side. Due to the drought in recent years, the lake level had decreased. I hope that if there is such heavy rainfall for a few more years, the lake level will reach its former level.
Rüzgar çok hafif düzeyde estiği için Ilı Göl de sessiz sakindi. Bu yılki yoğun yağışlardan sonra Ilı Göl'ün su seviyesi gözle görülür düzeyde artmış. Tabii önceleri göl seviyesi çok daha yüksekti. İnsanların araba ile bu tarafa doğru geçmeleri mümkün değilmiş. Traktör yardımı ile gölü geçip diğer tarafa ulaşıyorlarmış. Son yıllardaki kuraklık nedeniyle göl seviyesi azalmıştı. Bir kaç yıl daha bu denli yoğun yağış olursa göl seviyesi eski düzeyine ulaşır umarım.

Ne kadar zengin bir fotoğraf. 2200 metrede bulunan bir volkanik göl. Gölün hemen yanında ormanlık alan. En ileri uçta bulunan dağlar, dağların zirvesindeki karlar. Dağlarla nerdeyse bitişik olan bulutlar.
There's also a wooded area further back. A huge forest. A wild animal could appear at any moment. About 500 meters further on is a large lake. The lake is also enormous. It has an awe-inspiring size and beauty.
