😌😌⛄Ssshhh....I was trying to taste snow on a tree. Well I've never seen snow before, so, I decided to taste it too...that was weird...but yeah.
⛄I am from the Philippines and it doesn't snow where I live. It's cold during "BER" months but it was shamed by the temperature in Colden, New York...
🌨❄I stayed there for a few months as an exchange student with an amazing family for almost a year. And for all the great things that I experienced, snow was definitely one of the highlights.
⛄I've always wanted to experience this weather. I imagined it like a fairytale...you know...movies. It's fun, and amazing and beautiful...well, all of these adjectives were burried in the snow after 2 months of nonstop snowing...haaaha
🌨⛄It was cold EVERYDAY...almost everything is white too. And man, it was so difficult to get up in the mornin'. I was 16, junior high, so you can imagine how early classes are.
❄Okay enough ruining winter! Haha I had more fun with snow, though, specially the first fall. Some trees were still colorful from autumn, until one morning, I woke up, and there was a blanket of snow.
🌨❄Finally, got to experience White Christmas too! For a girl who lived all her lives in the tropics, this was pretty amazing!
⛄I got to learn snowboarding. I sled like crazy and did tubing too. Eating maple syrup on fresh snow...yum!😋Heck, I even learned how to knit scarves, ponchos and hats...Oh, and lets not forget the everyday Hot Chocolate! ☕
❄Anyways, as my host Dad said, "you're gonna love it until you hate it"..It's true...a little bit. I didnt actually hated it, but I guess I had enough of it. One to two months of snow is fun but when it lasts to 3months, I just wanted it to end. Haha, I missed my greens and the heat of the sun.
Me, operating the snow blower😀
⛄It was an experience worth remembering. So many memories in one season. I hope to experience it again! 💕🌺☺
