...at least it feels like that, as we will have to face some dark days in the near future.
The sky is now ruled by the clouds, and it has formed a partnership with the cold winds to make life very miserable nowadays.
My daughter is trying to convince me to wear a thing called a spencer, or something like that, and my wife laughed at my efforts to avoid the topic :) A spencer? What's that? was my question, and the daughter explained that it is similar to a vest with long sleeves. I don't wear vests, and why would they put long sleeves on a vest was my reply. Oh, she said, that is to keep you warm. After a lot of words, she finally accepted that I will never wear such a thing, as I am old school.
In any case, I have some shots in here for you to have a look at as it was a cold day, but the views were terrific in my mind. I love to see how the winds and the clouds work together in order to heap the clouds onto the mountains. It is said that we can have 4 seasons in one day, and today was such a day, as the sun was out in the early morning, but all of that soon changed as you will see. So, the sun lost out and it resigned for the day.
Come and have a look.
What can I say, but yes, the views are stunning, and the secret here is that we have another cold front striking the country. Talk is that snow inland on the mountains will come, but we have heard this before, and no snow has arrived yet. We are not used to snow here in our area of the African continent, and when we see it then it is always a very special occasion. Further inland there are higher mountains, and every winter season they get snow there, but it far away from us. So, all that we can do is to wait and see, as the strange weather patterns are really turning the norm upside down, and lately one can never know what to expect.
Finally, and abruptly the end to the show was concluded, just like that, and it was still late afternoon.
I seem to run out of words lately, and it is so frustrating when a word, or a name that I know well, will not appear in my mind. Confusion reigns also when I chat to someone and all of a sudden, I forgot what I wanted to say. People come to me with questions, and even though I know the answer, I forget what to say. Lately it seems to be getting worse, and it is not a pleasant experience, as it is embarrassing. At least it has made me a better listener, and I just soldier on and keep on trying to make the best of things.
Such is life.
I hope that you enjoyed the pictures.
