They are somehow so damn round yet adorable! I do not know how these little baby elephant seals grow up to be such physically massive and not nearly as cute as they are at this age. Considering that they are just laying around on rocks, they do look incredibly comfortable and it is quite inviting to jump up there and just join the group.
But one thing that a photo can never truly capture when it comes to cute wild animals is their smell... As adorable as these guys look, you are never quite prepared for the smell that a large group of these guys will produce. However, for you now just enjoy these plump, adorable little rock sausages enjoying a bask in the sun.
