It can be difficult to comprehend that in one of the coldest places on earth there is actually large populations of mammals that call it home. One of these mammals and by far one of my favourites would be the apex predators of the ocean, Orca/Killer Whales.
Their ability to quietly move through this environment is impressive and can also mean it is beyond difficult to find these guys. However, when you do it is nothing short of impressive and my heart skips each time I get lucky enough to spend time with these predators of the ocean in Antarctica
