The Falkland Islands/Malvinas are a stunning group of Islands in the Southern Ocean just off the coast of Argentina. If you are a bird lover than these Islands are a must see, as there is quite a diverse range of bird species. From 4 species of penguins, albatross species, as well as a variety of duck and other species all found here.
Not to mention the landscape and colours of the coastline and beaches that you can explore, which almost give you the feeling of a tropical destination not somewhere you would find King Penguins wondering around. A great moment to watch with penguins is their first interaction as they greet one another. Usually it will consist of them standing like the two below for some time, what they are communicating to each other is any ones guess but it does look like a friendly and intimate hello.
