Penguins are definitely not one of the most graceful animals when it comes to moving on land. However, once they have entered their natural realm of the water world then it is nothing but mesmerizing to observe. One thing I have come to learn over the years of interacting with these animals in the natural wild world is that patience is key. Furthermore, its a little easier to shoot video footage and try to grab a good still from that footage.

It is remarkable that even as I look at this photo I am taken back to the day I took the footage. The area I was in, the people I was working with that day and even the guests that were in my zodiac a the time we were mugged by 100's of Gentoo penguins for almost 30 minutes. It is probably by far one of the best interactions I have had in penguins in the years I have been exploring the Antarctic world.
