Over the years and years of running multiple hour and multiple day tours in various places with different wildlife species there are lots of moments that I simply can't remember. However, there are always a few that stick in your mind as just one of those trips where even the smallest little details of that trip stick in your mind.
This tour will always be one of my favourite that I will remember, where it was a sunset tour out of Victoria, BC with the now critically endangered Souther Resident Orca. In particularly with a whale known as J34, aka Doublestuf, whom is no longer with us sadly enough. The lighting, the encounter and colours just lined up to make it one of those days.
