penguins are for a lack of a better word adorable and I am yet to meet a person who doesn't smile when they are watching penguins in the wild being themselves. An incredible bonus of my long work contracts down on the Antarctic Peninsula has allowed me to spend quite a bit of time with these flightless birds over the years and as a result take a few 1,000 photographs.
One thing I do enjoy about the Chinstrap penguin is their demeanour as they go about their day. They are not the largest of the penguin species we frequently encounter on the Antarctic Peninsula but what they lack in size they make up with attitude.
