For those of us who live in parts of the world where ice on the ground is a true struggle during certain parts of the year, you know just how bad it can be. Even the adorable species in the penguin world take their time when navigating on large pieces of ice. This cute Adelie penguin somehow got on top of this huge glass-like iceberg and was slowly navigating his way back down towards the ocean, which I can only assume was so that he can go foraging for food or find his friends.
It took him quite some time to navigate the slippery surface of this ice but fortunately enough for me it was long enough, allowing me to grab my camera out of my dry-bag and snap a few photos to show just how real the struggle is even for these animals.
