Just a quick post from mobile. It’s hard to see because for some reason the mobile app wants to post pics without rotating them(sorry!), [Edit: Fixed it up from lapop] but this robot greeted us at the sushi restaurant tonight and gave us our table number.
The robot is called Pepper. It’s sold by SoftBank in Japan.
It’s kind of cute (for a walking iPad). There were no greeter staff. Just Pepper. A sign of things to come?
