What an eerie end to my fungi hunting today. I found only a few mushrooms with interesting names; they aren't something extravagant, but I would like to show them anyway.
As I entered the woodland, there were a few tiny mushrooms scattered on the path.
They are the pale brittle stems.
Oops yes, the stem is brittle, and if you try to bend it a bit, it just breaks so easily.
Then I looked around inside the woods. Oh yes, I looked, and I even spotted these tiny ones; they are called wolf’s milk slime mould. Huh, "wolf's", it made me think of any wolf around actually (looking around), hhmm...
On a rotting branch, I saw this one called brown witchs' butter (ah, excuse me, witch, just a little photo of your aged butter, lol. )
There’s always something new in fungi hunting, and that’s why I always end up having something to share here on #FungiFriday by 
I couldn’t see anything more there, so I decided to head home…
... until I spotted this tree and thought it was Halloween.
I said, 'Gosh, what is that! Thinking, should I run?
It actually creeped me out a bit, and I was looking for any big spider around in case I got captured and wrapped up like this.
Although I initially thought it was a type of fungus, it turned out to be a caterpillar infestation.
These are actually silk coverings over the tree. Sounds better, doesn’t it?
When I had enough, I headed home! Phew! What a spooky fungi hunt.
