Ever found yourself stressing over something that, in the grand scheme of things, is relatively insignificant? (I used to!) It's time to shift your focus and stop majoring in minor things.

In this video, I introduce a powerful question that can help you do just that:

"Will this matter in 5 years?"

We often allow small inconveniences or distractions to consume our time and energy. Whether it's getting cut off in traffic or dealing with a minor disagreement, these small things can quickly escalate and ruin our day.

But here's the thing:

Most of these issues won't matter in the long run. In fact, they probably won't even matter in a week and in many cases won't even be relevant next damn hour!

For example:

Ever had the experience where someone was rude to you for no reason, and that one thing in the morning has been eating away at you like a tourist at an all-you-can-eat buffet?

Like... WHY?!

It's an event that lasted for 10 seconds, let it end there! Why throw away the next 10 hours of your day focused on it! By applying this question for long-term thinking, you can shake off a lot of small inconveniences and focus on what really matters!

Your Future!

So why do we let these minor things take up so much of our mental space?

The key is perspective! Zoom out of the micro and tune into your long-term wellbeing! Prioritize our actions, and avoid getting caught up in trivial matters.

This is not just about time management, but also about emotional management. It's about DECIDING what deserves your energy and what doesn't. It's about recognizing that not all things are worth your attention and learning to let go of the things that don't serve your long-term goals.

So, the next time you find yourself getting upset or stressed about something, take a moment to ask: "Will this matter in 5 years?" If the answer is no, it's probably not worth your time or energy.

Remember, life is too short to major in minor things!

Focus on what truly matters and let go of the rest. It's a simple shift in perspective, but it can make a world of difference in your life.
