Muchas frases deciden el destino de una persona, la sumergen en un atolladero o la animan a hacer su mejor esfuerzo. Cada vez que veo esta frase siempre me hace saber que uno tiene el poder de controlar nuestros sentimientos.
Many phrases decide a person's fate, plunge them into a quagmire or encourage them to do their best. Every time I see this phrase it always lets me know that one has the power to control our feelings.
Nadie puede hacerte perder tu paz interior, o lastimarte, si no lo permites. Solo tu puede decidir cómo actuará sobre las palabras y acciones de los demás. Si alguien quiere lastimarte con sus palabras y hechos, depende de ti permitir que lo hagan. Cuando estés seguro de que lo que dice una persona te perjudica y no tienes el control de la situación, aceptarás que esas palabras te hieren y te harán sentir muy triste. Tú eres quien decide cuánto pueden lastimarte las palabras de otra persona. Recuerda que solo las palabras que decidas que tienen poder sobre ti, tienen poder. Si cree que es lo suficientemente valioso, no te verás afectado por lo que otra persona diga sobre ti.
No one can make you lose your inner peace, or hurt you, if you do not allow it. Only you can decide how you will act upon the words and actions of others. If someone wants to hurt you with their words and deeds, it is up to you to let them do so. When you are sure that what a person says hurts you and you are not in control of the situation, you will accept that those words hurt you and will make you very sad. You are the one who decides how much someone else's words can hurt you. Remember that only the words you decide have power over you have power. If you think you are valuable enough, you will not be affected by what someone else says about you.
No dejes que nadie te pase por encima. Nadie tiene derecho a insultarte, y quienes lo hacen tienen poca educación y ningún respeto por los demás. Si no permites que los comentarios dañinos influyan sobre ti, esos perderán todo su poder malicioso. Aprende de todo lo que sucede en la vida y continúa caminando por tu propio camino. No tiene sentido prestar atención solo a aquellos que no hacen nada más que hacerte sentir inferior a los demás. Solo tú tienes la clave de la felicidad, no permitas que nadie te diga que no vales.
Don't let anyone walk all over you. No one has the right to insult you, and those who do have little education and no respect for others. If you do not allow harmful comments to influence you, they will lose all their malicious power. Learn from everything that happens in life and continue to walk your own path. There is no point in paying attention only to those who do nothing but make you feel inferior to others. Only you have the key to happiness, do not let anyone tell you that you are not worthy.
