My favorite color is purple.
It draws me in and calms me, relaxing my racing heart.
My constant anxiety set aside with four walls surrounding me, holding me.
Even when the light shades around me turned dark, I still found comfort in the familiarity.
Looking up I still saw the vibrant hues that once held meaning.
Like tunnel vision zeroing in so distracted by what I saw when I starting looking up, I didn't notice what had settled inside me.
My favorite color is purple, but all I see red.
