I had a "REEL GOOD TIME" today fishing at Hermosa Pier. We spent about 4 hours with no luck then suddenly this happened!

It's a Halibut! Caught this sucker with my 1 oz bucktail spoon

I felt especially proud because no one at the pier had caught anything and I felt like a champion!

don't worry no animals were harmed during the filming of "REEL GOOD TIME" and the halibut was safely released back to the wild water kingdom
