This beetle is a huge problem in our drought ravished garden. It eats all the flowers on our potato bush, but a bigger problem is the fact that it lays its eggs in / on our compost heap and at the roots of plants and the larvae then eats the roots
Horrible larvae these .... but the wild birds love them.... especially these hadeda's below
