Let's Go To Broadway!

Monday already. How time flies. I do not want Summer to be over, as that means, back to school :( I like my boys at home, most especially since we have 2 suspected killers on the lose, STILL.

It rained much yesterday and this morning, and supposedly sometime today it will rain again. This year's Summer, we have a lot of rain. So odd. But then you read news how ice melting like crazy in Greenland, really cannot say there is no global warming, right?

Anyways....Today I would like to share you some pictures I took of Broadway, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Whether day time but mostly come evening, Broadway is clogged with local and international tourists.

There are tons of restaurants, especially bars, and stores to check out. While some open throughout the day to night, some open only in day time, while others open in evening/night time, especially museums. Yep, you read right, there are museums as well, among bars and stores ;-)

As Nashville is a music city, it only makes sense that Broadway is full with honky tonks, although I did not find them to be cheap looking at all, in my opinion. Prices for a pint of beer are also standard. One definitely can and will have a good time in Broadway, especially with loud live music (which mostly are not even playing country music ONLY) and fun company.

The best time to see Broadway comes to live is evening/night hour, though. All the colorful lights will be turned on, unlike in day time (some are turned on as well but of course, sun light is much powerful, so you won't see the beauty of them lights). But again, should you wanna check out more places, some of them only opens until 5 or 6 PM. So you have to pick your battle, I guess lol

Quite a few of the bars/restaurants start their live music in day time, so even when you stroll around Broadway in day time, you will be entertained as well, which is a plus thing :D

We made a stop at a bar/restaurant where they have lower windows and the windows were opened, the bar/restaurant had a live music going on, the boys were really into them much. Too loud they said, but they did not really wanna move away from said bar. At one point, the guitar/bass player approached the boys, gave them high fives, and also a guitar/bass pick, which obviously my son did not know what it was and what to do with it hahaha

We checked most of the boots/hats stores and some souvenir stores as well, but we could not check any of the museums as we were late by half hour, gosh darn it. We also could not return the next day as it was our last day in Nashville. So yeah, pretty much we missed any of museums in Broadway, but that gives us an excuse to return to Nashsville someday again ;-)

At the end of Broadway, closer to the tourist information center, there is a big painting on its wall of musicians, famous musicians like Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Dolly Parton, Reba MacEntire, and tons more. The painting is pretty good as they do look similar to the real musicians, in face features. Pretty nice to see.

Those musicians, mostly country music musicians, perhaps one time performed in one of the honky tonks, or maybe Nashville origin? I would not have the slightest idea. It was already getting too late at night when we spotted it, so I did not really think to see if there was any placard of some sorts regarding the painting.

The sidewalks are a bit dirty, which makes sense as there are just tons of tourists daily, but also clogged with drunks and homeless, just FYI. However, should you wanna stroll Broadway but not on foot, you can always go for BEER pedal tour ;-) You know, a moving tavern, SO 👏 MUCH 👏 FUN!
