How was your Christmas? Hope you had a wonderful memorable one, in togetherness happiness and most of all healthiness.
This year was extra awesome for me as my mailbox was flooded with cards AND RECIPES from around the world.
I had totally forgotten that many moons ago I belonged to a cookbook collector group where we (the members) listed our birthday. I left that group some months ago since real life had gotten busier and online life had taken away my attention too much 😅 The members sent me bazillion of their favorite family recipes, for my upcoming birthday. So thoughtful of them to started sending them before Christmas so that they could also send Christmas wishes.
So yeah. I got tons of heartfelt wishes, recipe booklets, recipe pages etc. Love the hand writings, handmade greeting cards, etc. Just full of awesomeness.

I felt so loved and still do as cards still coming im as of yesterday. I haven't check the mailbox for today yet.
When I said I had totally forgotten, picture my shock and confusion when the post office gave notification. Because.....I did not put down my real name 🤣🤣🤣🤣 So post office didn't recognize the name and nor did I!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It took me a bit until I realized...oooh, I think this was my online name 😅🤣😅🤣 So I had to dig up around for info, password and whatnot. Did not even remember what the group was, but I searched the senders names and messaged one of them 😅 Felt like a great detective research 😅🤣😅🤣
Cookbook collectors are the BEST people, I kid you not.
Today I mailed out a bunch of thank you cards to them. My heart is full 💞💞💞💞 More recipes for my home library. THANK YOU!!!
I feel like Taylor Swift now. Well somewhat 🤣 Feel loved, is the greatest feeling, and they came from strangers who cared? One of the best feeling for sure.
Love it when friends, family, and strangers (friends we haven't met), know me this well. I am an cookbook addict. Been collecting since 2005 🥰 Nothing brightens my day more but to receive cookbooks and recipes for my library.
