It is possible that the Writing Club is more accepting of this type of story. Check out the kind of material they have there.

Read some of the stories here to get a feel for the community. As was described in one of our newsletters, try to imagine if the story would fly in the New Yorker or Harpers. That's one test. Also, is it something you would show your grandmother (of course, there are all kinds of grandmothers).

Hope you get a feel for the community and try your hand here. Sometimes, it's really good to test your creative limits.
