You certainly have an antagonist here. A very clear antagonist. You tell your story well, and give your characters motivation. One thing you have to watch out for, @fantom22 is the inclusion of violence in your stories. It is true that violence is omnipresent in culture. It is almost inescapable in media. However, it is possible to have written this story without a kidnapping. There are other ways Tudor could have been compromised. The next time you write a story, try to think of a scenario in which you can achieve the same end without a violent act. It might be a challenge. Every time we meet a challenge, we grow as writers.
