The year 2018 Presidential elections were declared on Tuna Island (fictitious name) in the subcontinent of Africa.
In this election, the public has to vote while keeping in mind the work, conduct, and reputation of the presidential candidate.
In this election, Mr Revel of the Democratic Party and Mr Tudor of the Nationalist Party are the candidates. Both the candidates are very influential and have been political players for a long time.
They are both very experienced and very popular people among the public. That is why this election had to prove to be very interesting and thorny.
The population of Tuna Island is about three million. It is surrounded by the sea and the trees and natural resources are abundant on the island. The main livelihoods here are farming and fishing. Apart from this, this island attracts the citizens of other countries with its beauty, so there is also a crowd of tourists throughout the year.
This country gets a lot of income from the movement of tourists. The people here are very simple and straightforward. They do not have much knowledge about politics and, only after believing each other's words, vote for the candidate in the election. Both the candidates were holding public meetings and television meetings and were appealing to the vote in their favour.
Tudor’s image was a bit stronger than Revel Jackson's because he had made promises for the development of the nation: employment for the youth; exemption from income tax; free education; new industries; free laptops; free electricity; water; etc. At the same time, he promised to end corruption in the state. Tudor also promised to issue a helpline number to the public so that any person can call that number and make any complaint, and also promised to take immediate action on the complaint.
Due to these promises and the fanciful campaigning, the inclination of the public was increased toward Tudor. And according to the exit polls, his chances of winning were very high.
Revel was also holding election meetings in his own way and was also making lucrative promises to the public, but the election wind was not in his favour. His own election observers had warned him that it was impossible for him to win. For this reason, Revel was very worried. Because his millions of dollars have already been spent on the election campaign.
Within a few days, foreign nationals came from different states to Tuna Island. This island was considered as a safe place for the cocaine and heroin drug trade. They gradually started establishing their feet here.
Because of Revel Jackson's being an influential person and his involvement in the hotel business, the drug mafia got Revel Jackson's favour and protection. Thus, Revel was in contact with the drug mafia like a non-active partner.
As everybody knows such a mafia does not hesitate to commit any kind of immoral act. Suspicion and anxiety of defeat dissuade Revel, and he hatches a plan with the drug mafia, thinking he will trap Tudor and win the election by tarnishing his reputation.
Under this plan, they kidnapped Tudor one day, unclothe him and forced to sleep with a fully naked woman, and then they took pictures of them and took Tudor back to his house.
These photographs were made available by Ravel to local newspapers and television, as well as their posters were made, and pasted throughout the state.
The next day, Tudor discovered what Ravel had done to him. When he urged the state police chief to investigate the matter, the police chief assured him that he would soon get the investigation done and tell the truth to the public.
The police chief was a good friend of Tudor's and had no doubts about his character. A very smart detective, Leary, was secretly appointed to investigate the case. He was an expert detective in this type of work.
Leary first inspected that photo. He enlarged the front part of the photo and the woman in it with the help of a magnifying glass. After a while, he understood that this photo was made by making Tudor unconscious. The woman's face was not clearly visible, but she had a scorpion's tattoo on her right cheek.
This is where the investigation started. They started looking for women who had scorpion's tattoo on their cheeks. After a two-day search, an independent reporter told Leary that one such woman had left town three days ago and went somewhere outside.
Leary obtained a copy of the CCTV recordings of the bus station and airport main gates of the previous three days and took it to his office and watched it clearly. In that recording, it was clearly visible that the woman in the photo entered the bus stand at 3 p.m. There was another man with her at that time.
When Leary asked the bus stand officer on the phone to which place the bus was sent after 3 o'clock that day, the station in-charge gave the names of 2 places. Leary called and asked for CCTV records of both the places.
Eventually, Leary caught the woman and arrested her and brought her to the police station. In front of the police investigation and questionnaire, the woman could not stand for long, and she exposed all the tricks of Ravel to trap Tudor.
Leary recorded the woman's statement and gave the full report to the police chief. Soon after that, the police raided the drug mafia's hideouts and caught many criminals and large quantities of drugs. Soon, Ravel was also arrested and sent to jail.
In this way, Ravel's entire political future was ruined due to his Worry of defete anger and jealousy. But this incident also ruined the intentions of the drug mafia.
Tudor was declared president without a vote, and all the news was revealed on national television. The whole public of the country became happy.
