A Dance with My Final Paper

I had been preparing like crazy for this exam. Since it was the last one, they needed to ensure it wasn't a cakewalk. The questions? Lethal. The anxiety? Overwhelming. And if all of that was not enough, death itself thought it would have a little dance with me. Okay, perhaps that sounds melodramatic, but I genuinely can't even remember the last time I've ever felt that completely ill.

@lailawrites's creative nonfiction story is very exciting. The author, a young university student taking his final exam, fills the writing with very relevant and clarifying images of his feelings as he describes what happens to him on one of the most important days of his life. The action and dialogue are not as important as the intimate way he narrates his sensations.
