HOME MADE MODPODGE FOR DECOUPAGE PROJECTS
Modpodge is a fantastic medium for adhering ricepapaer/napkin top sheet on to DIY and upcycle items and furniture.
You can make you own for just pennies and it's every bit as good, I know I've done a few beautiful pieces of furniture.
Take a container with a good fitting lid and pour in 1 cup of white PVA glue also known as wood glue and craft glue.
add 1/3 of a cup water.
Mix well, and there you have it.
Cheap modpodge crafters glue.
If you want a bit of a waterproofing sheen add 1 table spoon of water based varnish to it.
If you like a bit of lustre, add 1/2 teaspoon of lustre to the mix.
