Today is just an ordinary day for us. It's our day off from work, and we haven't planned anything just yet. But we know we have to go for a grocery run since we ran out of food at home. There is a newly opened grocery store nearby called O-save, and this is where we plan to do our grocery shopping.
After lunch, we took a quick shower and decided to go. We got there on our motorbike, and it took us about 15 minutes. And since it has been raining for days, there have been only a few customers in the store.
The first thing we got was instant coffee. We liked their coffee mix, so we grabbed 10 pcs of the twin pack. We wanted to try their other instant coffees, but we needed to stick to our budget—no impulsive buying for today. Anyway, we got the coffee we wanted.
Then we headed to the fresh section, where they display various frozen goods, such as pork, chicken, and other processed meats. They offer a lot of frozen meat products, and we saw some marinated pork barbecue as well. You can really buy everything from here. We started checking out the prices and the meats.
We walked over to the freezer for frozen goods, like hot dogs and shanghai. We also checked out their Tocino and Longganiza. But we were looking for something in particular. We wanted to have the chicken tocino and lumpiang shanghai. We grabbed them from the freezer and then went to the hygiene section.
After getting everything in our basket, it was time to pay at the counter. The prices at this store are way lower than the others, but we needed to do the self-service packing for the groceries we bought.
We got some shampoo, vinegar sauce, coffee, instant noodles, and frozen goods. We have no idea how many days these stocks will last, but we were truly happy to buy them for the week. After paying at the counter, we packed everything and bought their eco bag. Then, we headed straight home.
