We could hear rustling in the tree tops (palms) above our heads while sitting on the beach, coincidentally a few minutes earlier a man was walking along the beach selling nuts and we had bought about five bags. We heard the rustling again and my son spotted a cheeky little squirrel at the top of the tree.
Excited at the thought of getting a closer view of the cheeky little fellow we poured a load of nuts onto our hands and then put them on a few different spots on the tree. The squirrel fell for the bait and could smell the nuts, he soon started to come down the tree. He would come so far down and then run back up again. He repeated to to do this several times and finally he came down low enough for me to capture this shot!
I think we were both on a winner, as the furry little fellow got to eat plenty of nuts, we got a nice view of the squirrel and I managed to capture this shot.
