Another Sunday and another giveaway! Hard to believe it's been over a year. As long as you all seem to enjoy it, I'll keep it going. This past week we had 40 participants which is leaps and bounds above the five or six I used to get in the first few Sundays, so thanks so much for visiting and participating!

The CyrptoCompany could use some help

This week my friend powerpaul@powerpaul lost a big delegation to his cryptocompany@cryptocompany . He's one of the newer builders here on Hive, and has one play to win game already active which is BroBang. It's simple and fun, and he's working on some new games for Hive all the time. If anyone has a few HP available I'm sure he would appreciate any delegations to cryptocompany@cryptocompany , plus you earn some of his CCD tokens daily. Thank you in advance if you can help out!

Let's jump into last week's responses to the entry question about what is your favorite smart phone?

iPhone

iphoneincanada.ca

Launched in 2007 by a Steve Jobs led Apple Corporation this device literally changed the world as we know it. Hard to believe less than 20 years ago we didn't all carry around devices in our hands all day long, the good old days... To be honest, I really kind of miss them...

Still one of the top companies in smart phone production they continue to innovate some of the top devices. I've owned several in the past and really enjoyed them. One thing I like about them is they tend to be smaller and easier to carry around. Thanks for sharing your opinion to akiraymd@akiraymd , blitzzzz@blitzzzz , gwajnberg@gwajnberg , flummi97@flummi97 , middle-earthling@middle-earthling , silverd510@silverd510 , rainbowdash4l@rainbowdash4l , silvertop@silvertop , ronnie10@ronnie10 , bigorna1@bigorna1 , angeluxx@angeluxx , doombot75@doombot75 and lumpiadobo@lumpiadobo .

Samsung

Samsung has been in the smart phone game since 2009 and have made some of the best devices available. Using the Android operating system (just as almost everyone but Apple) they produce a large line of phones. They have the newest Galaxy lines that are very pricey to the less expensive phones that can be picked up on most any budget. I have had a few of these and they are great phones. It's what I currently use at the moment. Thanks to logen9f@logen9f , sylmarill@sylmarill , henruc@henruc , dewabrata@dewabrata , lecia89@lecia89 , cositav@cositav , gatet@gatet , ladymisa@ladymisa , monsterbuster@monsterbuster , hatdogsensei@hatdogsensei and neblomax@neblomax for sharing your opinion!

Xiaomi

Xiaomi is a leading smart phone manufacturer out of China using the Android operating system. It can be found in most places around the world. In the United States it has been banned since 2021 due to connections with the CCP and in Finland since 2023 due to Xiaomi continuing business in Russia despite the war on Ukraine.

I've never owned one but they have a good reputation from what I've heard. Thanks for sharing your opinion to freed99@freed99 , servelle@servelle , olaf.gui@olaf.gui , ekavieka@ekavieka and florakese@florakese .

Google Pixel

tomsguide.com

The Pixel is a Google product that runs on the Android operating system. They are known for having some of the best cameras from what I have heard and an excellent system. I've never owned one of these but would be willing to give it a try. When the time comes for a new phone we'll see how my budget is looking at that point! Thanks for this choice by melinda010100@melinda010100 , vcclothing@vcclothing , tengolotodo@tengolotodo and mytechtrail@mytechtrail .

Motorola

jamesdpierce.pages.dev

Motorola is an United States smart phone company that is owned by Lenovo out of China. They have produced great smart phones at more economical prices that many of the higher end brands. Battery life tends to be excellent as well. I have had at least one of these at some point, and it was a great phone. Definitely not a bad option to go with overall. Thanks for your opinion gratefuleveryday@gratefuleveryday and tortangkahoy@tortangkahoy .

Last but not least we had a few others, vaynard86@vaynard86 like the Android OS on his phones, okarun@okarun likes Techno brand, and longganisan@longganisan likes Sony Erickson, some good old school!

And the man who goes with Redmi Note 13 because it's cheap and replaceable if broken is whywhy@whywhy ! A smart man with his money, phones are so expensive that if stolen or broken it is painful to replace them!

Now moving onto the question for this week's entry.

Who is your favorite computer manufacturer?

The Giveaway

I will be giving out one prize of five (5) HSBI. Second and Third prizes will be 2 DUO tokens, the token I recently launched with bulliontools@bulliontools and bitcoinman@bitcoinman . It offers those who stake sufficient tokens daily curation on quality posts, dividends, and a tipping bot. It also helps to onboard and retain new Hive members. At the end of the post there is a link to the white paper and where to purchase the tokens. Fourth prize is 100 BBH tokens. Fifth prize will be 250 CCD tokens. To participate you need a reputation level of at least 25 and bots cannot win. And please one entry per person to make it fair to everyone.

If you would like to be placed on a weekly reminder list just let me know and I'll make sure you get tagged each week.

How to Enter

Every week this will change. I'm looking for engagement rather than just saying "I am in". There is no need to upvote or re-blog, although if you choose to do so I would appreciate it. This week's question should be fun: Who is your favorite computer manufacturer?

HSBI
