Welcome to Tuesday... I woke up early this morning, not so much because I wanted to wake up. The neighbor's cat decided at 4 A.M. that it needed to express itself, damn cat.

Last night I ended up watching some old Simpsons episodes. One gave me inspiration for today, the real song along with the Simpson's version. One I wanted to share was Pious Riot, but Quiet Riot never actually played on the Simpsons. Instead, I'll play some fun acts that did perform on the show and their music!
Let's get going!
Red Hot Chili Peppers
This band from Los Angeles came together in 1982 but took nine long years to hit the mainstream. Along the way there was drug abuse and overdoses. But in 1991 they release Blood Sugar Sex Magik and became a huge success making them one of the biggest bands of the early nineties. They did a cameo on the Simpsons with Krusty the Clown, and it's hilarious. He supports the verse change to: "I want to hug and kiss you" over the original. Here you go:
Judas Priest
Onto another awesome band, Judas Priest had their origins in 1969 but took ten years to make the mainstream with British Steel. This song celebrates those who break the law to survive, but the clip here on the Simpsons is the opposite!
Blink 182
Now to another 1990'a band, Blink 182. This punk band became one to the top bands in the world. Here is the original video and their Simpson's take. Best to get paid first!
