Still Running!

Yup, still running and closing in happily on our 4 year anniversary of being a part of this with all of you. As we continue to grow and see others grow along with us and take new flights on their own, we are proud just to be here participating and seeing all the things that have happened. Know that we are running this marathon with you - one step at a time.

Today, we are moving forward with the rest of the witnesses and accepting the new proposed hard fork 25. A great article by @hiveio (which can be found here) can explain to you a good synopsis to the most outstanding changes taking place. There are links in there with more comprehensive details if you choose to educate yourself further.

As Stated Previously (Changes to our operations)

We declared that we would initiate at least a 5% minimum interest rate on any HBD in savings. Seeing the majority of the higher ranked witnesses agree with @enginewitty in the fact that it would be more attractive, most of them now have theirs set at 7%. We will follow suit and set ours to 7.5% and keep it there for many coming days in the hopes that investors and users like earning more without having to curate on a regular basis. With the new stabilization of pegging HBD in place, we hope this will make ripples in the cryptospace that have yet to be seen. (Fingers crossed everyone!)

Moving Forward

As one of our members once said, "It's all about community." That has stuck with us and our family structure for a long time. We still feel that it is a necessary component to anyone's success here on Hive, which is why we still - aren't going anywhere. We are looking forward to seeing how the new changes affect all of us in the long 'run' - ha ha! See what I did there?
