Do you know that when it comes to business, you need the right team to work with. The truth is that, this is applicable in all part of life, not business alone. Right team leads to right result. This was the tag I have always believed on. Business is like relationship, if you have the right woman by your side, you will see yourself growing so fast. But if you have those dream killers, you will see yourself dying so fast.
As a business man, it is very important you select the right set of individuals to work with. Let us go biblical a little bit. When Jesus Christ picked his deciples, he picked the one who sold him out and the one who betrayed him. The choosing of the decided was not meant to show that Jesus Christ doesn't knows what he is doing, he did that to show us that we should knows that when having a team other than your self, you are bound to fall into the category of betrayals and evil hearted people. Commit your self into the hands of the Lord and make thorough research before venturing into choosing a team. Having somebody in your team who wants your business download is a big pain in the butt. Funny enough, you might not be able to eradicate it with ease.
The truth is that business needs team, you can't singlehandedly run your business alone. If you do, it will be stagnant. Take for instance, how many business with big name that is doing well that you have seen one person controlling it? Almost all the business are in groups. Take for instance, the CEO of facebook is just the CEO, he has investors, programmers and other team members running the business with him. Dangote in Nigeria has lots of workers from different part of the country. What about Tesla, Toyota, Hyundai, Nissan and host of others, they have lots of team running it with them. You can't name any business in the top 5000 without no other person in the team.
Take a look at those team, they all have the evil people in the team but the good people surparses it. That is why they are still doing well. I have seen people who plans/strategies on how to loot their boss company. This is just endless. It requires the grace of the Lord to see those rich companies still standing tall.
When your business is still at the infant stage, you will be able to spot bad and good workers but once it gets large, prepare to face more challenges regarding that. You will never spot it or might take much investigation to do that. Before your investigation comes truth, they might have looted your business to downfall. Knowing that bad eggs in your business can lead to it downfall means that you should be vigilant at all times for your business. This will be hard but you have no choice to make sure you apply every principles that will prosper your business to apex height.
After running my business for 7 years and having little experience, I am pretty sure that this might work. I am not saying it works 100% but the strategies work. You can apply it and for sure, you won't regret it.
The first strategy to apply here is to make sure that after employing the workers into your team, don't be in a rush to test them. Just assume they are saint. Work with them up to like 2 years plus, while they are working with you, make sure you pretend to trust them. Now during their 2 years of working with you, test them with money bigger than that their salary. Many of them will fall because they will think since you have trusted them very well, you might never believe anything people says bad about them. If they fall, get them sacked. But if they passed the test, trust them a little more.
The second and last strategy is to make sure you have an investigation team. This is a neutral team, their work is to investigate the team annually or any how they so wish. None of your workers should know any member of this team. It should be kept secret.
