Puddles, Fog, and a beautiful Sunset. My Actifit Report Card: December 6 2023
After the rain yesterday there were huge puddles this morning in the park. Look under the tree in the photo--that's usually dry land but not this morning,
In addition to puddles the size of small lakes everywhere we had fog and mist this morning.
No guarantees you can see it floating above the lake but rest assured it is there.
Overall it made for a crisp morning to take the dog for a walk. After that another lap around by myself so I can travel at a better pace and get some exercise.
During the day I was busy doing housework and errands. Good thing too because when my wife got home she was in a grumpy mood. She was mad dinner wasn't made (the oven was heating up when she got home). She was mad there were dishes drying in the sink (most were put away but some I let air dry after washing). Mostly though she just had a very long day at work. Her 8hr shift turned into a 12hr shift and she was asked to do more work than her co-workers because she was kind enough to help them out by working extra.
Overall I just had to step quietly around the house yesterday evening.
However, I still had to walk the dog in the late afternoon (before my wife got home) and saw a pretty nice...hmmm...sunset?
Since that isn't actually where the sun was setting it was more like a reflection of the sun in the sky but it was still pretty to look at.
Other than that during my walk around the park I came across a tree that someone had tried to decorate.
Now I enjoy Christmas decorations but still....this is a tree in the 'forested' part of the park. Not really a big tree. Not really where everyone can see. Not near electricity for lights. Makes me wonder why someone did that?
Well. Someone had the Christmas spirit even if it was a little misguided in my opinion.
And I think that will do it for today.
