Today I bring to your notice news that touches the heart even to the soul as this world we live in is no longer safe for everyone. We all just need to be careful and wise.
It's true most of us love parties and of course drinking a lot with those we call friends trusting them with everything in us and feeling secure that they can't do us shit but sometimes forget that humans can always be humans and men (women included) are not to be trusted.
I was invited to a birthday party of one of my course mates but me being me, who doesn't enjoy too crowded parties declined the offer. I only asked the others who wished to attend to send me pictures.
One of my friends came around and persuaded me to attend the party but I refused and of course she left for her party.
According to them on their return it was lit as there were enough drinks to go round, games and dancing. My friend returned with joy filled in her spirit but she didn't know that something was about to hit all of them who attended the party so hard.
News got to me, that one of my course mates was poisoned at the party, you can imagine that! The poison started tormenting her the moment she got to her house and was rushed to the hospital by her parents.
A test was run on her and figured she was poisoned, the hospital demanded a huge sum of money to treat her and her father being influential and rich, had the money to pay but that's not all.
He has demanded the names of all the students at the party, because every single one of them is a suspect. There's no hideout now for anyone because the case has been reported to the university and the students' registration numbers have been noted.
My Joy is I resisted the temptation and stayed back, now I'd have been amongst those going to jail for something I know nothing of. I don't know who that girl had upset or fought with that made him or her want to take her life.
I pity the students that were present at the party including my best friend.
Parties today are filled with both good and bad people, each with one intention or the other. If you do not in any way feel like attending a party you were invited to please do stay back. Maybe you're being given a sign to stay out of trouble.
Some birthday parties and any other type of party isn't worth putting any innocent person in trouble just because they were present.
