Víctor, el gran caballero que soñaba con ser un héroe [ ESP– ENG ]

Víctor es el protagonista de nuestra historia, era un niño muy pequeño, incluso era el más pequeño de su clase, y de su casa, pero a pesar de eso, era un niño muy valiente, y con un corazón enorme, lleno de amor y empatía por los demás, Víctor quería ser bombero, porque le gustaba ayudar a la gente y quería salvar vidas.

Victor is the protagonist of our story, he was a very small boy, he was even the smallest in his class, and in his house, but in spite of that, he was a very brave boy, and with a huge heart, full of love and empathy for others, Victor wanted to be a firefighter, because he liked to help people and wanted to save lives.

Víctor tenía un pequeño problema con una hormona del crecimiento y su estatura era bastante deficiente en relación a la de los demás niños de su edad y esto siempre le hacía sentir mal, porque era el primero de la fila, el primero en pasar y parecía más joven de lo que era.

Victor had a small problem with a growth hormone and his height was quite deficient in relation to the other children his age and this always made him feel bad, because he was the first in line, the first to pass and he looked younger than he was.

Un día en un parque de diversiones Víctor no cumplió con la altura requerida para subirse a un carrusel, mientras todos sus amigos pudieron hacerlo, esto lo hizo sentir muy depreciado y su autoestima quedó destruida, después de este incidente sus compañeros comenzaron a burlarse de él, incluso le pusieron un apodo y por un momento Víctor vio como su pequeño sueño de ser Bombero tenía un obstáculo gigantesco, su estatura.

One day in an amusement park Victor did not meet the required height to ride a carousel, while all his friends could do it, this made him feel very depreciated and his self-esteem was destroyed, after this incident his classmates began to make fun of him, they even gave him a nickname and for a moment Victor saw how his little dream of being a firefighter had a gigantic obstacle, his height.

Víctor era un niño muy entusiasta y a pesar de sus dificultades no se daba por vencido y se refugiaba en su mente soñando con lo que al parecer ante los ojos del mundo era imposible, constantemente se imaginaba que era un enorme caballero con gran fuerza que salvaba a una princesa de una torre incendiada , esto lo hacía muy feliz porque se sentía útil salvando a las personas, también se imaginaba constantemente que visitaba islas que eras invadidas, y salvaba a sus habitantes y sus tesoros de los terribles piratas, definitivamente siempre soñaba que era un héroe.

Victor was a very enthusiastic child and despite his difficulties he did not give up and took refuge in his mind dreaming of what seemed to the eyes of the world was impossible, he constantly imagined that he was a huge knight with great strength that saved a princess from a burned tower, this made him very happy because he felt useful saving people, he also constantly imagined that he visited islands that were invaded, and saved its inhabitants and their treasures from the terrible pirates, definitely always dreamed that he was a hero.

Su imaginación se convirtió en su mayor defensa y su pequeño sueño de ser bombero nunca se apagó, ya que el imaginar constantemente lo que quería, lo hacía tener mucha alegría, Víctor sabía que, así como un elefante es grande, poderoso, valiente y útil por su grandeza, el pequeño león también es útil por su agilidad y destreza. Todos somos grandes, se repetía constantemente Víctor y no hay sueños imposibles. Víctor también se refugiaba en sus libros, quienes le daban el empuje para poder soñar, por eso su sueño de ser bombero y poder salvar y ayudar a los demás se hacía cada vez más visible.

His imagination became his greatest defense and his little dream of being a fireman was never extinguished, since constantly imagining what he wanted made him very happy. Victor knew that, just as an elephant is big, powerful, brave and useful because of its greatness, the little lion is also useful because of its agility and dexterity. We are all great, Victor kept repeating to himself, and there are no impossible dreams. Victor also took refuge in his books, which gave him the push to dream, so his dream of being a fireman and being able to save and help others became more and more visible.

Un día ocurrió algo inesperado en el colegio donde Víctor estudiaba, pues las únicas llaves de toda la institución habían caído en una alcantarilla en desuso, los profesores y trabajadores intentaron sacarla de la mejor manera posible, pero nadie pudo, lo intentaron con escobas y palos, pero todo era en vano, ante ese revuelo Víctor se acerca a ver qué pasa y al notar el problema se ofrece a ayudar para rescatar las llaves y salvar la institución. Los profesores al principio se negaron, pero al ver su insistencia por fin le dejaron ayudar y como era pequeño se metió fácilmente por el agujero de la antigua alcantarilla rescatando las llaves y quedando como un héroe ante todos sus compañeros, ya que si no se rescataban las llaves se quedarían todos atrapados en la escuela.

One day something unexpected happened at the school where Victor studied, because the only keys of the entire institution had fallen into a sewer in disuse, teachers and workers tried to remove it as best as possible, but no one could, they tried with brooms and sticks, but all in vain, before that stir Victor approaches to see what happens and noticing the problem offers to help to rescue the keys and save the institution. The teachers at first refused, but when they saw his insistence they finally let him help and as he was small he easily got through the hole of the old sewer rescuing the keys and looking like a hero to all his classmates, because if the keys were not rescued they would all be trapped in the school.

Ese día lo aplaudieron y hasta lo cargaron y Víctor se sintió como un héroe y este pequeño logro le dio a Víctor más fuerza para seguir soñando, aprendió que el valor no tiene tamaño, y aprendió que los sueños se hacen realidad siempre y cuando sigamos luchando.

That day they applauded him and even carried him and Victor felt like a hero and this small achievement gave Victor more strength to keep dreaming, he learned that courage has no size, and he learned that dreams come true as long as we keep fighting.
