"Let's make some money!" That was the first thought that came to my mind when a friend mentioned steemit to me. She was like,
'Babe! There this social network were people get paid 6000NGN for every poem or comment they upload even if it is "happy new year" sef!'
As a Warri girl, it is normal to respond with doubt and negative remarks, which I did, till she mentioned that a friend got paid a week earlier. As soon a she spoke of a testimony I quickly joined, only to realize it is not just some get rich quick scheme. Its actually a community of knowledgeable and creative minds.
