Random Quick Sketch Before Going to Bed... <3

I haven't drawn, painted or just sketched anything for a couple of days now. The last one I made was a portrait of my late grandfather and from then, I didn't touch any art materials. Well, I've been a bit stressed from work and other stuff, so I decided to chill during my days off.

When my best friend and his family came over last Friday, we just talked and played some mobile games together while mama spent time with his wifey and baby boy. I also played with my godson for a bit which is a good change.

Yesterday, was a lazy day. I didn't have any energy and I didn't feel like doing anything. I know it's not good to be unproductive, but there are days when we just want to chill and do nothing. I just ended up playing some mobile games again, watched some anime and read some manga.

I wanted to draw something today before going to bed. Yes, it's technically Sunday in my place. It's past two in the morning and I just felt like making something before calling it a night, so I quick sketched this...

Well, I had someone in mind while making this... but it just look a bit like him. As to why I chose to sketch this, I don't know... haha Maybe because his birthday is coming? lol I'll try to make a proper drawing or perhaps painting next time. FOr now, let's just settle with this quick sketch. Below are some progress shots I took while doing this.

Even if I called this a quick sketch, it actually took me around 20 minutes to finish this. haha But maybe it isn't too bad for a 20-minute sketch, is it?
