Hey everyone. I had a little bit of free time today, so I decided to sit outside for a while and enjoy the quiet me moment. There wasn't really anything special going on. I was just watching people pass by and taking in the moment. Then I thought it would be nice to make a quick urban sketch.
I drew someone sitting on a plastic chair, looking relaxed while holding a mobile phone. I liked the calm feeling of the pose. It reminded me that even simple moments can be worth drawing. Sometimes you don't need a busy street or a famous place. Just one person enjoying their own little break is enough.
I made this one digitally and kept it pretty loose. I wasn't trying to add every little detail. I just wanted to capture the mood before it disappeared. The red shirt and blue chair added a little color, and I thought they worked nicely together.
It didn't take very long, but I had fun making it. These quick sketches are a nice way to slow down for a few minutes and enjoy drawing without thinking too much.
