As a human, one thing I've grown to accept is how change is dynamic and the only certain thing about our existence. There's a time to be young and a time to be old, a time to be strong and a time to be weak, a time to live and a time to die, a time to work and a time to rest. There's really nothing we can do to alter the changes that happen to us over time and the best thing we can do is to prepare for them in the best ways.
My retirement plan is particularly one of those things I'm so concerned about right now. I live in a country where the people don't care much about what happens to them when they age and after seeing a couple senior citizens suffer from not making plans for their old age and how the government neglects the wellbeing of citizens who have worked so hard in their youth, I tend to revisit my drawing board to reflect on my retirement plans and how to make my old age a wonderful experience.
One of the most important aspects of my retirement plan is to have multiple sources of passive income.The crypto space has offered so many opportunities for people to earn passively but I'm still looking out for other sustainable sources of passive income both in the the cryptoverse and in real life. Having sources of passive income at old age means you have entirely no reason to depend financial on people and the government. It's quite rare to find old people with passive income around here and I've seen what financial dependence on people could do and I don't want that. Alongside cryptocurreny projects that would keep fetching me some passive income at old age, I'm considering investing in real estates and farmlands which seem easy to handle at old age and could keep me active at the same time.
Another aspect of my retirement plan is what to do when I'm old. I'm really not the kinda guy who likes inactivity and I don't fancy the idea of spending the remaining parts of my life being lonely and dormant, I'll probably die faster of boredom that way. I have plans to be among the younger generation teaching them the stuffs I used to know and creating more beautiful memories while I still have the chance. I believe it's a great way to conclude the journey of life and I'm working on making that a reality.
While it is wonderful to live the moment and enjoy life as it comes, it is best to acknowledge the inevitable and work towards making sure we have a beautiful and pleasant experience when they happen.
