In the last episode of The Witcher 3 Saga, Geralt made his way to the far side of the world, some might even say where the edge of the world creeps! Ard Skellige was the place to be nowadays with the war raging onwards. The only problem was that the Skelligers attacked all who dared venture close!
Geralt did manage to get a captain with a ship willing to cross the oceans for him, the coin had to be just right though, but even so the coin wasn't enough to save their ship or their lives! Geralt awoke in the midst of a huge battle raging above deck! He quickly stormed out to aid in the defence when he heard a shard snap and then the creaking of wood. As he looked up the mast of the ship came tumbling straight towards him.
He woke a few hours later soaked with salty sea water and a Skelliger standing over him.
After that he made his way up to the harbour area where the Jarl's funeral was busy taking place, he also managed to meet up with Yennefer at this funeral.
The things took a turn against Geralt! He had to go to the feast all dressed up!
It must be the first time in years where Geralt has not been late for the feast and that even after he had to pick his own attire!
Now for a fact I know Geralt really put some effort into picking his clothing but even then Yennefer seemed unimpressed! Sheesh woman these days (OR is it those days?) well she wasn't all disgusted by his outfit but she certainly wasn't impressed at all either!

This made Geralt feel highly welcome in Ard Skellige, he was given a seat of honour at the table of the sons of all the Jarls! More so those who would be contesting for the throne!
One of these contenders are Cerys the daughter of Crach although I don't think Crach knows that she will be contending for the throne!
The chatter of how Cerys won't be seated on the throne quickly took spark, the usual notions of having bones that are too thin would lead to her loss of the throne.
Not always true in retro spec though.
Before Geralt could find himself he was standing at the foot of Kear Trolde ready for the race up! He was wondering to himself if he would actually make it up there, it's been years since he had to run such a steep and treacherous mountain side!
And the winds on Kear Trolde have been known to take men to their graves!
But he could not refuse the challenge! If he did, what would these Skelliger's think of the famous White Wolf!
Geralt pushed as hard as he could to get up to the top of the mountain! They had to believe he was really giving it his all to win this race!
But Geralt had other plans in mind!
Close to the end of the race just when he was out of sight for those watching from below he decided to stop running. He wanted Cerys to win this one, to be finally able to speak amongst the men!
Actually I just wanted to do the race where she won instead of Geralt. I wonder what affect that would have on the story line.
After the race up the hill to see who would be the victor or more so who is the faster runner. They returned to the feast where everyone was drinking in full blast and words were being spit around.
Well some of those words were being spit towards Yennefer and with that Geralt wasn't overly fond of.
Let's say Geralt got himself into a bit of a pinch where he couldn't get out of!
He lost the fist fight and he started thinking to himself if it might not have been a good idea to drink the rest of the night!
Getting to why they came!
Once the guests at the feast have gotten too drunk to notice who was supposed to be there and who not. Geralt and Yennefer decided to go search for something in Ermion's laboratory.
There was one trick though, they were not to be caught by any chance! These Skelligers are a ruthless bunch and once they find out that two offlanders went about their castle uninvited I can not imagine that they would take it very well at all!
It would seem Geralt isn't as immune to poisons as he thought himself to be!
The room leading to the laboratory had some sort of puzzle to solve, at first they had no idea what this might have been but as soon as Geralt cut himself trying to open one of the doors they realized!
It didn't take long for Geralt to start hallucinating away at the stuffed wildlife in the room!
A somewhat hilarious sight to see!
The last time Crach saw us he mentioned that he had urgent business to discuss with us. At first we thought he might have forgotten but it seems he played the wise mans game to see how things would shift first.
He wanted our help to rescue his son from from some giant that caught him on the offshore island near Ard Skellige. Or so it was believed to be, I have no doubt that his son might already be dead. He also wants Cerys to win the throne if she contested. The reason for this was that he didn't trust any of the other men contesting for it.
He would know what's best for his people!
