Queen of the night cactai 2.0

Hi there Steemians.

I wrote about this flower in a previous post and actually said that they bloom only once a year. Well it seems that I was mistaken I think it blooms a couple of times during the summer season but with less and less flowers the first time it bloomed it had 4 or 5 flowers.. The second time it had 3 flowers and now the third time it has only 1 flower. This should probably be the last time it blooms for the season.

With that being said the head that blooms pops out of nowhere the one day theres nothing and boom the next day theres a head waiting to bloom. And yes it blooms only during the night so its very easy to miss it as most people are inside their homes during the night time and by the time the sun is properly out its already closed again and then it dies and dries away.

I am so glad we have this cactai on the farm and I am most definitely going to plant more of this beautiful flower in and around our farm.

Early Afternoon right before the flower is about to bloom.

In these two photos belowe you can see the old flower heads thats already dried out making the cactai look pretty ugly. But still for such an ugly normal cactai it has a pretty amazingly beautiful flower.

Early morning the flower blooms during the night. This is taken the morning after it bloomed. Although I could have taken a photo around 10pm 11pm the previous night.

The next night but the flower closed up when the sun comes up so its been like this the whole day never to bloom again.
