Nature is considered as a living substance, able to feel, experience or rejoice with the heroes, to influence their inner world and state.

Many writers and poets drew inspiration from being in the woods or admiring the raging sea. In their works, they reflected the influence of nature on man, argued that it helps to calm down, bring thoughts in order and find spiritual harmony.
