Wishing you a Merry Christmas

Well Christmas day is upon us and for all those that celebrate Christmas I wish you all a wonderful day doing what ever is special to you on Christmas day.

We get together with the Daughter in Laws extended family for Christmas Eve, have a fun time with good food, we each bring along something for the meal, chat laugh listen to music etc and is such a fun time.

They all stay to well after midnight, at which time the grandkids are allowed to open one present, and we have a secret Santa thingy and those presents are opened after midnight as well.

Lulu and I left well before midnight so missed that portion of the evening, but we wanted to be fine for getting up earlier this morning and heading to the house to spend the day with Lulus Son, his wife and the grandkids we try and get there fairly early for the gift opening, and then we just have a nice family day together and a nice lunch, over eat and chill, tomorrow I will worry about dieting

I thought I would keep in the Christmas feel for this post and share a few photos from back when I worked in NYC of some of my favorite Christmas decorations

Starting with this in the Shopping Mall by Columbus circle

I loved these they change colors but I loved them in blue

This piper over looking the Ice Skating rick in the Rockefeller Center.
And still around the Rockefeller Centre, When ever i saw these angles I thought of the Christmas song Hark the herald Angels sing

And some say most men never grow up and in my case it may be true, I love these decorations not far from the Rockefeller center on 5th Ave I think, I would make sure to go and see and get shots of them every year, and have a chuckle thinking of them as big balls
