I would rather be....

Starting this post with a shot walking along Widemeer Beach here in Milford

Which as the title implies is where I would rather have been walking, but no so much today, I was up early as usual and did consider heading to the beach for a morning walk and to catch the sunrise, but the wind was whistling away just by our house let along how it would have been at the beach and the temperature was below freezing point so I decided to be sensible, which is kind of shocking for me, or should I say used to be shocking to me but with age it seems I am getting some common sense so I stayed indoors,
But the first two shots show where I would have much rather have got my steps if only it was warmer walking one of the local beaches

I have heard people refer to the years after 60 as the golden years, maybe ina warmer climate with great health that is the case, or maybe I misheard it and what people were saying its the When its the COLD IN years ie when its cold stay indoors :)

But My wife and I did get some steps in today by going to the local Mall, getting about 6K steps in before my wife had enough steps for today, She has only just got back into walking and is still building up so that was a good effort for her, for me it was a lot slower than I walk on my own but still to be getting some steps in together.
I almost forgot to snap some shots while there but about midway through the walk I remembered and snapped some shots, including this one

The Mall has started early with signs of Christmas decorations, I think these ones are more to hide the fact that one of the bigger chain stores in our mall closed down and there is a big empty space behind these

But that wasn't all the Christmas displays there, Santa was even there, I was going to go and sit on his lap and give my wish list to him, but apparently, according to ot my wife there is an age limit for that and I am a little over it, so I guess I will have to write a letter
