Finter and Art

Well I know Winter doesn't officially start till December the 21st, but this morning, a well the last couple of days and the rest of this week its feels a bit cool for Fall to me with the temps dropping below freezing and the talk of possible snow this Friday, so the title for this post Finter is what I am calling this season, not fall like and not officially Winter yet.

Now I am not really complaining ( or maybe I am each year I am liking Winter and the cold less), and i now its going to get a lot worse, but i am not quite ready for cold days yet LOL

I did get out for a couple of walks today between buildings for meetings and a walk after lunch so happy with my step count for today

OK Rant over and let's get onto the real theme for this post which is some art I have seen around the city, starting with a couple of shots taken recently with my camera and then some Cell Phone 📱 shots taken on today's walks around NYC
I know I have shared shots of this Eduardo Kobra Mural before but its such a beautiful and powerful Mural I couldn't resist this shot of it one day when it was dimly reflected on the side of the building

Now there isn't an endless supply of art to see in NYC, but it is always changing and there is so much of it, this Mural is in the First Street Green Art Park

Some Ipnone shots from today

When I got off the train this morning it was a little breezy and chilly and I was not motivated for a walk before work and headed straight to the office building and saw this art in the lobby which led to the theme for today's post

These pieces are Paint on Silk and called Moonrise, I really liked them I must admit

Many of the phone booths around the city have been replaced by these terminals called LinkNYC, they provide free Public Wi-Fi, Phone calls, device charging, displays of train times, city services, random daily facts, but they also display art in the screens they cycle through so here are some of the art pieces i have seen
