My Actifit Report Card: October 26 2019 Sunrise walk and a touch of fog
Sunrise walk and a touch of fog
Started the day with a morning walk at sunrise back to Walnut beach again, mainly because a couple had asked about the notes on the friendship rocks so I decided to go and check out what they say and you can find out later in this post.
Was another beautiful sunrise and got about 4K steps in, then my wife called that she was up so I went home so we could watch the World Cup Rugby Semi-Final between New Zealand and the All Blacks, a bit disappointed with the New Zealand All Blacks loss but I must give credit where it is due England played an outstanding game and truly deserved the win as they were the better team on the day.
Other than that a pretty good day and after lunch I went for a walk around the neighborhood and got some shots of the Autumn/Fall colors but with my camera so there not included in this post
Starting the post with something from a recent visit to Walnut beach and something different from the sunrise shots I normally share and decided to go with a couple of shots from just off the beach near the edge of Silver Sands State Park.
This first shot was of a low fog or mist I saw there one morning, and kid of fits with the rugby match today England were so strong New Zeland at times looked like they were playing in the fog.

Shots with my iPhone from this mornings walk
As I was driving to the beach well before sunrise the sky didn't look that much at all and I changed my original plans to head to a different beach but with what I thought was going to be dull colors I changed my mind and also I remember the Kindness rocks with the notes so went to Walnut beach again to check those out.
As this first shot shows, I was wrong about the dull skies, it quickly changed literally as I was getting out of the car.
it also shows I was not the only one enjoying the sunrise, there were a few people out just watching or taking shots of the sunrise, or enjoying a walk in the fresh air.
I stepped back from my camera and tripod to take this shot and then quickly moved back when it crossed my mind if the little boy was suddenly to get active my Tripod was a bit close to him, luckily he didn't.

I thought the cloud formations were pretty cool this morning and caught some nice colors, which I hope my camera caught even better than these shots.

This next shot shows the color inthe clouds a bit better, as I was walking along the boardwalk.

Again this morning the colors were in every direction this morning, I walked back and forth along the Boardwalk till there was enough light for the next couple of shots

And following on from how I ended yesterday evening's post, this morning I noticed one of the kindness rocks with the paper wrapped with them was untied so I checked it out.
As you can see this rock says Kisses for Connor
