Moving day and a change of view

Today my main activity was related to moving buildings and offices, With the move today and an early meeting I headed into the office starlight away when getting into the city so didn't do a photo walk as I often like to, but I did think to pop out for a quick walk around the gardens in my current office building this morning before I moved, between rain showers.that came and went today

MY camera shots today are not the best of shots as they were taken a little while back through the windows, next door to the cubicle where I have been working for a few months, and the window was a bit grimy so it didn't make for the best of shots, but I decided today was a good day to share them and show the view I have been fortunate to have for most of this year.
First off looking across Manhattan and showing my Favorite building the Chrysler building

Now I can say for sure this was taken a while ago as the building you can see being built behind the Chrysler Building is One Vanderbilt, and it is now close to or taller than the Chrysler building but still under construction and will be one of the 10 Tallest buildings in NYC soon.

This next shot is looking down at 1St avenue almost always busy with traffic,

Now I will share a few shots taken today with my iPhone showing my walk today, As the title suggest today I moved office buildings, which I have moved so many times over the years I have Downsized what I keep in my office so apart from my Chair everything fits into a reusable shopping bag I use for the supermarket normally but brought in today for the move, so the move itself was easy.

For me I don't really care what desk or office I sit at but I will miss being able to pop out for a quick walk around the gardens now that I am in the new building, Admittedly it is only a couple of blocks away, but the extra time to walk there and then do a five minute walks would make to much of a break from the office so I will not do it often.

Even though it was cloudy and raining on and off this morning before the move I did pop out for a walk around the gardens anywhere and got these shots.

This is looking across the Rose Garden area, the roses are fading away now but still a beautiful spot

And beside the rose gardens looking over the East River and seeing the 59th Street Bridge

And looking back further along the walkway, again with the 59th Street Bridge across the river.

Even on a cloudy day like today seeing the Bridge gets me humming away in my head (not out loud I am that bad a singer singing it it loud may scare people LOL))Feeling Groovy

Incase your wondering the photo did load, no windows in my new office, thats a shot of the wall 😂 I have gone from a cubicle to an office but the view is a bit of a downgrade.
