On or near Broadway
For this evenings acifit post I share some photos taken with my iPhone
This morning is was back to my normal work day routine and heading to coach the train to NYC rather than what I would rather be doing and going for a walk on the beach, but I knew today was going to be a hot one so I went for a walk before heading to the office and got 10K steps in well before 10Am which qualifies this for an automaticwin post and I have included. Screenshot from actifit app at 8:43 which show i had over 10K steps by that time.
I decided to go and check out some new art I had heard about on broadway so I got off the Terzo North train at 125th Street Hartle and walked up to catch the 1 Train to 72nd Street and Broadway
While waiting for te train I noticed this mosaic art in the station depicting the Harlem Opera House

NO I got to the first of the Art pieces i was looking for and will share a couple of shots of the pieces

Now I must admit this is not quite what I expected from the description I read online which said something to the effect of art inspired by textile works from the American Fold Art Museum, and what you see in the past photo and the next one are what all the art pieces look like and I think I saw all of them, but all just the one stencil pattern or other repeated, I guess it does beautify the spots they are on, but i was kind of expecting a bit more

Even in the early morning I think I started walking at about 6:30 AM it was starting to feel warm as I was walking along but i plodded along as I wanted to walk from 72nd and Broadway to my Office building near 42nd and 1st, by the time I passed these fountains I kind of wished you could walk through the and cool down a little
