'Tis the season for parties. Gathering with family and friends to begin the festivities of the Holidays. So last Saturday, I attended the best holiday party ever. Everything was lit. The ambiance was filled with the Christmas vibe - poinsettia, eggnog, Christmas cookies and warm comfort food in addition to a well-stocked bar and a DJ who rocked the party from beginning to end.
I had not only the honor of catering the event but, I was also invited as a guest to the party. This is a rarity for me, not having to work at the event that you catered and just having a fun time with everyone.
I was in a New York state of mind, so I wanted my outfit to showcase a bit of New York and a little bit of me. I opted for a simple white tee, with daisy dukes over black tights and a pair of black booties (in lieu of the traditional Timberland booths) complimented with a black leather jacket. I wanted to keep make-up very subtle so that my natural beauty was highlighted.
I had beyond a grand time enjoying all the festivities.
