After a while of trying to be like everyone else you realize you’ve become a mulch of mediocrity and everyone else is trying to be like everyone else so no one is anyone, just fragments of the self swapping places depending on which scenario we’re in. Is that truly living your own life?
The world shapes us as much as we shape it, yet we pretend, so often and act out of fear. So if everyone is acting out of fear and is pretending… is that what being human is?, if most of the population is exhibiting these traits then perhaps that’s it, perhaps that is what it is to be human?
